For the month of May, the troop went camping at Arizona Trail, where many junior scouts achieved the Totin and Fireman’s chit.

As is usual, the troop arrived at the campsite and began setting up their things. Initially, the scouts took a small hike up a hill to expend some energy, whereafter they found wood for a campfire.

After waking up the next morning, the troop made breakfast burritos to start the day. The troop then collectively built a shelter from tarp, utilizing their pioneering skills.

For lunch, the scouts managed to cook spaghetti and meatballs. After this, several scouts worked on and completed their totin chit and fireman’s chit.

The troop then made potatoes and macaroni for dinner. To conclude the night, the troop watched a movie while enjoying ice cream, after which they retired to bed.

Congrats to Micah and Luis for completing the shotgun merit badge on the first attempt. Both of them shot 5 out of 5 in s***t and a couple of 4 pit of 5s. Congrats also to the Ferguson boys for completing the rifle merit badge. Rumors of them qualifying while blind folded may or not be floating around summer camp..... The Archery merit badge well finish up tomorrow.

Pics from those who got up to perform at the cohort campfire. Ryan is now Nick named Justin Bieber at camp and we have even heard some girls pointing him out as "there's Justin Bieber" this morning. Over all every one is having an awesome time!

During cohort campfire last night we had a C130 airplane (piloted by a Scout Master) do a couple of low level fly overs wagging his wings saying hello to grow Scouters. It was pretty awesome!
