Cochise County Youth Orchestra

Cochise County Youth Orchestra Strings Orchestra Performances have been held at the many venues in the area, with food donations collected for local charities at the end-of-semester concerts.

The Cochise County Youth Orchestra has performed joint concerts with the Sierra Vista Symphony for schoolchildren from all over Cochise County. The CCYO provides tuition scholarships for members who need assistance. Additionally, the CCYO College Scholarship Fund bestows merit based awards to deserving orchestra members going on to college. The CCYO is grateful for the generosity of the community

for support. Over the years, the organization has been the recipient of grants from many foundations and organizations in our community. In 2009, the CCYO was awarded “Organization of the Year,” by the City of Sierra Vista’s Mayor’s Arts Commission. Become a friend of the CCYO and help give the children of our community the continuing opportunity to play music in a group setting. The orchestra is dedicated to building responsibility, discipline, and communication skills in our local youth through music, and your contribution ensures that young musicians will have that chance regardless of their financial circumstances. By contributing you become one of our patrons and will be recognized in our concert programs. Please make your check payable to CCYO and send to:

The Cochise County Youth Orchestra is looking for parents and community members to join our board! As a non profit, we can't exist without a board.
