We joined with one soldier from the 304th MI BN BOLC, one soldier from the 309th MI BN, and two members of Coronado Society Children of the American Revolution to preserve a little of the beauty of our adopted section of Highway 92, Sunday, December 14, 2025 by picking up 10 bags of debris. At the close of the event the soldiers who volunteered to help us were each wished Happy Holidays with personal greeting cards and a hearty round of thanks!

Service in Seconds for those who Serve(d). We were happy to share a little holiday cheer in the form of 5 bags of new and gently used bedding, pillows, towels, clothing, and household items with the families of active duty military and veterans at Fort Huachuca through the Chaplain's Turn Around Point.

Join us in remembering the attack on Pearl Harbor today on its 84th Anniversary. Our commemoration yesterday featured a table display honoring the life and service of Lt. Commander Lou Conter who was the last living survivor from the USS Arizona.

Yesterday we were proud to present an America 250 Revolutionary War Patriots Marker to the Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery for our community and honored to have our state regent and 2 state officers with us for the occasion!!!

Wreaths Across America Preparation Service Project 2025
It was great to work with Cub Scout Pack 444 and Scouts BSA Troop 444 preparing wreaths for Wreaths Across America at the Southern Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery & learn first-hand of the outstanding service young people like these scouts voluntarily provide to our community!

Seven members gathered for the annual DAR Day of Service Project this year and prepared 210 wreaths for Wreaths Across America.

We were delighted to welcome distinguished guests to our September meeting to proclaim and celebrate Constitution Week. Sierra Vista Mayor Clea McCaa II, Public Affairs Officer of the Cochise County Sheriff's Office Carol Capas, and Assistant County Attorney Ruth Faulkner presented proclamations. Fiona De Young of Arizona's Sixth Congressional District Representative Juan Ciscomani's Sierra Vista Office presented the chapter with a Congressional Certificate of Recognition and 2024 Congressional Record of the Congressman's proclamation on the floor of the House of Representatives and announced that our representative read his proclamation into the record of the U.S. House of Representatives for Constitution Week 2025.
