Sierra Vista Youth Symposium 2026!

It was a pleasure representing the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sierra Vista at today’s Youth Symposium!

A huge thank you to Mark For Mayor - Councilman Mark Rodriguez, Sierra Vista, AZ and Demetry Simonton for the invitation and for creating an opportunity for our community to come together, listen to our teens, and have meaningful conversations about what they need and want right here in Sierra Vista.

One of the best parts of the day was hearing directly from our youth about the things that matter to them—from more activities and sports to employment opportunities, education, community safety, and resources for teens. Their voices matter, and it was great seeing adults and organizations in our community take the time to listen.

I also enjoyed sharing what the Boys & Girls Club has to offer our teens and connecting with community members interested in volunteering and collaborating with us to create even more opportunities for young people.

Days like today are a great reminder of what can happen when a community comes together and puts its youth first. There IS something for teens to do in Sierra Vista—and together, we can keep creating even more! 🙌

Thank you again for having us!

🌟 PALOMINAS MEMBER SPOTLIGHT 🌟

Practice. Perseverance. Confidence. Leadership. 💙

One of our Palominas members set a goal to improve their skills in our Be Competitive program. With encouragement from Club staff and lots of practice, their hard work paid off! 🏆

Even better, they turned their success into leadership, helping other members practice, learn, and improve too.

That’s what the Club is all about—helping kids build confidence, determination, friendships, and leadership skills.

💙 There’s a place for your child at the Club. Great Futures Start Here.
