The Butterfly Club Inc. Non-Profit- 501c3 Providing wigs to women who are fighting cancer. There is no cost to the client. Surprisingly Wilma discovered no organization existed. Well not for long!

In 2005 the founder, Wilma Mrosek, a cancer survivor herself, recognized a need for this unique charity. After her recovery Wilma phoned local and state cancer centers to inquire where she could donate her wigs to women in need. With the help of Outstanding Family & Friends, Wilma founded the Butterfly Club. However, Wilma soon realized that "The Club" needed more help. So the Butterfly Club was

first started, and raised funds through special dinners held at the Butterfly House. Since that time, the Butterfly Incorporated as a non-profit 501c3 with Tax Excempt Status attained as well. Wilma set about organizing additional fundraisers and started reaching out in other areas for much needed donations. Women and Teenagers in need receive their Clients choose a wig, are properly fitted and instructed in their new Style. Wilma is Licensed-Owner Operator at Visage Day Spa & while she is talented indeed, it the support and genuine love, caring & humor that lifts her clients spirits! And never a charge......Zero........Wilma is about supporting & sharing a gift with people. The Butterfly Club is a Volunteer based Non-profit, working towards one goal.....Sharing, Giving and helping women and Teens, fighting cancer or serious illness, that causes hair loss. Cancer can take so much from us and we hope to assist women to present themselves with dignity. Like The Butterfly struggling from the captivity of the cocoon, she will present in Beauty.

If you’ve noticed things looking a little different around here, it’s because Wilma officially achieved Repeat Offender status in Facebook Jail. We faced a massive crossroads: do we pull the plug on everything, or do we adapt?

Thanks to some quick digital engineering by Eddie behind the camera, we found a way out. We are officially launching our brand-new page: The Butterfly Club Wigs!

While our old page will slowly start fading out, this new account is where all the real action, updates, and community connection will live moving forward. Wilma might be handcuffed from posting directly on her old stomping grounds, but the mission doesn't stop.

This segment of Nolan's sit-down with Wilma highlights the terrifying stealth of a cancer diagnosis. Nolan was strong enough to haul a massive elk out of a remote area with his father, creating an incredible lifelong memory, completely unaware of the war his immune system was starting to face.

It’s a powerful reminder that a serious diagnosis doesn't always start in a hospital bed it often starts right in the middle of our everyday, active lives. 🧡✨
