🌿 WELCOME TO THE SACA COMMUNITY, HEALTHY ESSENTIALS! 🌿

We’re excited to welcome Healthy Essentials - Sierra Vista, AZ Healthy Essentials – The Natural Market as one of our newest followers!

Having a local natural market is an important resource for a community like ours. It gives residents greater access to natural and specialty products, provides more choices for individuals and families, and keeps more of our shopping dollars right here in our local economy. 💚

Local businesses also provide something you can’t always get from a big-box store — personal service, local knowledge, and people who genuinely know the community they serve.

At SACA, we may have our roots in construction and the skilled trades, but building a stronger Southeastern Arizona takes all kinds of local businesses working, growing, and supporting one another.

🌱 Thank you, Healthy Essentials – The Natural Market, for connecting with SACA! We’re happy to have you following along.

⚡️ OCTOBER IS CO-OP MONTH! 🤝💡

This October, SACA is proud to recognize National Co-op Month and celebrate the important role cooperatives play in strengthening the communities they serve.

We’re especially proud to have Sulphur Springs Valley Electric Cooperative Inc (SSVEC) as a valued SACA member! 💙

Cooperatives are unique because they are member-owned, locally focused, and built around the needs of the communities they serve. That means decisions and investments are made with local families, businesses, infrastructure and our region’s future in mind.

Here in Southeastern Arizona, SSVEC does far more than keep the lights on. Their commitment to community programs, education, workforce development, renewable energy initiatives and local organizations helps make our entire region stronger.

At SACA, we believe strong communities are built through collaboration, local investment and organizations willing to work together for something bigger than themselves. That’s why we’re proud to support Co-op Month and recognize the important work SSVEC continues to do throughout our communities.

⚡ Strong cooperatives.
🛠️ Strong local businesses.
🤝 Strong communities.
💙 A stronger future for Southeastern Arizona.

Happy Co-op Month to SSVEC and cooperatives everywhere!

⚡October is National Co-op Month! ⚡

At SSVEC, the people receiving electric service are more than customers. 💚 You are members and owners of your cooperative! 🏡 That member-owned structure shapes how we serve and invest in the communities we call home.

🤝 Throughout October, we’ll show what the cooperative difference looks like in action - from local leadership and energy-efficiency support to employees serving their neighbors and communities.

Because being member-owned changes everything.🎉

🌞💚 Want to help shape a stronger, more sustainable future for our community?

One one of our valued members Sulphur Springs Valley Electric Cooperative Inc (SSVEC), is looking for community members to serve on its REST Grants Committee! ⚡🌱

Committee members will help review applications and award renewable energy grants to organizations and projects within SSVEC’s service territory — giving local residents an opportunity to have a real voice in projects that can benefit our communities.

Renewable energy is becoming an increasingly important part of how we build, power, and plan for the future. Investing in innovative energy solutions can help strengthen local infrastructure, encourage new technologies and skilled career opportunities, and help ensure the communities we’re building today are prepared for tomorrow. 🏗️☀️

And making a difference in your community doesn’t always mean swinging a hammer or writing a check. Sometimes it means showing up, lending your experience, sharing your perspective, and helping decide where resources can make the greatest impact.

That’s exactly what this committee provides an opportunity to do. ❤️

At SACA, we’re proud to support members like SSVEC who continue looking for ways to invest in Southeastern Arizona and the people who call it home.

📅 Committee applications are due November 1, 2026.

🌟 Business is better when we grow together — and SACA is proud to be a Chamber member with Sky Islands Regional Partnership! ❤️

At the Southeastern Arizona Contractors Association, we believe strong businesses build strong communities. That means supporting one another, creating jobs, building connections, investing in our workforce, and celebrating the successes happening right here in Southeastern Arizona.

Being part of the Chamber gives SACA another opportunity to connect our contractors and skilled trades with the larger business community — because when local organizations work together, everyone benefits. 🤝

We’re proud to stand alongside other businesses and organizations working to make Sierra Vista and Cochise County a place where businesses can grow, families can thrive, and the next generation can build their future.

Well… turns out THEY ARE! 🤦‍♀️🔨🏠
