Buena High School Project Graduation

Buena High School Project Graduation Project Graduation is a community sponsored event funded through S.V. Rotary Charities 501(c)3 org. Project Graduation is a community sponsored event.

The mission of Project Graduation is to provide an alternative to private graduation parties where drugs and alcohol are a major part of the celebration. Our objective is to provide one graduation celebration for all graduating seniors and their high school-age guests in a safe, drug-free environment. It provides parents peace of mind, knowing that their child is celebrating in a safe environment. The Rotary Club of Sierra Vista Sunrise coordinates the event and S.V. Rotary Charities Inc. provides the tax exempt status and insurance coverages. However, the entire Sierra Vista Community is responsible for the success over the years by their generous contributions of money, merchandise, and time.

🎉 **WHAT A NIGHT!!!** 🥳✨

A massive, heartfelt THANK YOU to the incredible community of Sierra Vista! Together, we celebrated our **40th year of Project Graduation**, and it was one for the history books! 🙌🎓

Over 400 graduates and their friends packed the house and had an absolute blast celebrating BHS c/o 2026! From the non-stop laughter to the unforgettable memories, the energy was unmatched! 💥🎈

We couldn't have pulled off four decades of this amazing tradition without our phenomenal volunteers, generous sponsors, and the endless support of this community. Thank you for investing in our grads and giving them a night they’ll cherish forever! ❤️🦅

As we celebrate 40 years of Project Graduation, we want to honor one of the incredible parents who helped start it all. In 1986, after a tragic incident deeply affected our community, a dedicated group of parents came together with one goal: to keep our graduates safe. Pencie Culiver (left in photo) was part of that founding group, and her commitment helped shape the tradition we continue today.

We are grateful for her vision, her heart, and the legacy she helped create. 🫶
