On 7 Jun 26, the SV Sunrise Rotary Club held its annual ceremony to install the new year President and Board Members. Our thanks to the Lindstrom’s for hosting again this year, along with the Hagerl’s for catering the event. The event started with our social, which was well attended by club members and guests. The official program began with the National Anthem, performed wonderfully by Susie. Kriss hosted the evening, masterfully keeping everything on schedule. Mike, outgoing president, reflected on his experience guiding the club over the last year, acknowledged his board members with mementos for their support. Mike then recognized two outstanding club members for their selfless individual support during his tenure. Monica Hoffman was recognized as our club’s Rookie Rotarian of the Year, and Kay Phillips, our club Rotarian of the Year. Mike presented flowers to Rian for four years of dedicated support as club secretary; Leta for hosting our installation dinners for the last two years; and Kriss for the catering support at various Rotary events. Assistant Governor Joe Puett conducted the swearing in of our incoming president Bill Hagerl, as well as the incoming board members. Bill provided his vision for the next year; we will move to create a lasting impact by turning our collective efforts into sustainable change that transforms our community and ourselves.
