Good Morning Sierra Vista! On this historic day, we gather together to celebrate the birth of our great nation, the United States of America. July 4th marks the anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, a declaration that proclaimed our freedom and set in motion the course of a nation built on liberty, justice, and the pursuit of happiness.

As we come together as a community, let us remember and honor the brave men and women who fought for our independence, the visionaries who drafted our Constitution, and the countless generations who have contributed to the progress and prosperity we enjoy today.

The Fourth of July is not only a time for fireworks and festivities but also an opportunity to reflect on the values that define us. It is a day to recognize and appreciate the diverse tapestry of our community, where individuals from different backgrounds, cultures, and beliefs come together under the banner of freedom.

As we celebrate this day, let us also extend our gratitude to the members of our armed forces, our first responders, and all those who selflessly serve our amazing community. Their dedication and sacrifice protect our freedoms and ensure our safety.

On behalf of the City of Sierra Vista community, I wish you all a joyful and safe Fourth of July.

May the spirit of unity and patriotism continue to guide us as we work together to build a brighter tomorrow.

Better Bucks of Sierra Vista now has a physical office!!! Located at 400 W. Fry Blvd. directly across from Pam Anderson's Landmark Cafe' in the Landmark Plaza!!! The office hours right now are Mon-Fri from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. You can get info about our Better Bucks, Better Work and Better Meals programs!! Better Bucks President Scott Borgstadt (center) presenting Plaques of Appreciation to Mr. Gilberto Fuentes and Ms. Jessica Vannoy from the City of Sierra Vista's Code Enfircement office for their tremendous support with our Better Work program in 2023! They were instrumental in Better Work participants in removing well in excess of 40,000 pounds of trash and refuse from public lands in Sierra Vista!! We are immensely grateful for Sierra Vista's support in getting our homeless population back to work and out of their situation!!! Thank you!!! ❤️
