Folks, I'm sorry but this is a serious post. Tonight's meeting had six attendees including the guest speaker. We don't have a secretary, director of professional development, or historian. If Fort Huachuca is no longer interested in having a USAWOA chapter, I need to know. Sound off in the comments, please. Fort Huachuca has one of the largest concentrations of WOs outside of Rucker. If we can't do this it's because Tech WOs don't want it.

Reminder that we'll be having our monthly meeting next Tuesday, the 14th, at 1730 at 143 Street Tacos, in Sierra Vista. We'll receive a short briefing on transition services for service members by Mr. Chris Killingsworth. We look forward to seeing you there!

The WOBC Class joined a few chapter members for a road cleanup of the southbound lane of hwy 90 starting at RV City in Whetstone, this morning. Great camaraderie while we performed a necessary public service. Special thanks to CW3 (R) Tamara Rodriguez for setting the whole thing up and supplying the "garbage-grippers", trash bags and hi-vis vests.

Just wanted to say THANK YOU to all of you that showed up on 11 January for the Roadside Cleanup! The temps were only in the double digits that day when we started, but your dedication to the community warmed many hearts.
