Love One Inc Love One is a counter human trafficking 501c3 in Cochise County. Love One is a counter human trafficking 501c3 based in Cochise County.

It is our mission to pursue, affirm, and protect vulnerable youth and adults by building authentic relationships in our communities. We do this by focusing on teaching, modeling, and growing healthy relationships. We want to ensure that the people in our communities understand what healthy relationships look like. We want them to be able to recognize when something doesn’t seem right and be able to tell someone about it. One of the ways we do this is through an after-school outreach program called Precious Ones that provides activities and snacks to youth while providing a safe environment for them to hang out and develop authentic relationships. We also provide mentorship to youth and adults around the US through our Around the Table and FIRE programs.

A New Chapter for Love One

From its inception, Love One has changed in many ways over the years, but its heart has always remained the same: to meet people where they are, build authentic relationships, and advocate for the vulnerable.

Today, I want to share that Love One is entering a new chapter. After much reflection, I have made the decision to step down as President of Love One, effective July 31st.

Serving Love One has been one of the greatest honors of my life, and I will always be grateful for the people I've had the privilege of serving alongside.

I am honored to share that MylynRose "My" Cruz Wery will be stepping into the role of President. My has served alongside Love One with compassion, integrity, and a genuine heart for people. I have complete confidence in her leadership and know she will continue carrying this mission forward with care and purpose.

While my role is changing, my belief in Love One and its mission has not. Thank you to everyone who has supported this mission and been part of the Love One family. I am excited for this next chapter and all that lies ahead.

Today, we celebrate the fathers, grandfathers, mentors, coaches, and father figures who invest in the lives of young people through their presence, encouragement, and care.

Strong, healthy relationships help create a foundation where children and teens feel valued, supported, and safe. Every conversation, lesson, word of encouragement, and moment spent showing up matters more than you may realize.

We also recognize that Father's Day can bring a mix of emotions. Whether today is filled with gratitude, grief, healing, or reflection, know that there is space for your story.

To all who are helping shape the next generation through authentic connection and love, thank you. Your impact reaches far beyond what you can see.
