The Ohio Department of Education has announced that it will now recognize a sports officiating license issued by the as an Industry Recognized Credential, which can be counted as credit toward high school graduation requirements within the health career field.

ON FIELD MECHANICS CLINIC (Football)
When: Monday July 31, 2023 (7:00p - 8:30p)
Where: Piqua Alexander Stadium
*in case of weather, will relocate to Upper Valley Career Center - video training*

The West Central Ohio Football Officials Association will be conducting an on field mechanics clinic at Piqua's Alexander Stadium, targeting newer officials and / or veterans alike.
We will walk through various Gold Book mechanics, and will ask veteran officials to walk through each of their positions based on different scenarios.

All in attendance will be credited with (1) local meeting credit.
Open to all football officials regardless of association etc.

LOCAL RULES MEETINGS – Our local West Central Ohio Association meetings will be held at the Piqua Upper Valley Career Center (Hartzell Lecture Hall) – 8811 Career Drive, Piqua OH 45356 for this year. All meetings are on Monday nights and start at 7:00 PM. Remember, you must attend a minimum of four local meetings. The dates are listed below and can also be found on MyOHSAA:
