The Foundation for Community Care awarded Extended Care funding for the purchase of a brand-new handicap-accessible van, helping provide safer and easier transportation for residents traveling to out-of-town appointments and community outings, like summer trips to the fair. Each month, we have chosen a fund that we will be focusing on at the Foundation. We encourage our donors to give to these funds during the month in which they are spotlighted. In May, the focus is on the Extended Care fund.

The Extended Care Fund helps support the Extended Care facility at Sidney Health Center. Extended Care offers the best possible place for those who need special care. It's needed by so many of our loved ones, and our community takes comfort knowing it's an award-winning facility. In partnership with its members, the Foundation is proud to help share its meaning and importance with our community. As we honor and remember veterans who have passed, we also pay tribute by giving to the Foundation for Community Care in their memory.
