Yesterday, we celebrated the ribbon cutting of Williams Place, a dedicated lodging resource for cancer patients and their families traveling to Sidney Health Center Cancer Care for treatment.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, including the Foundation for Community Care and the Sidney Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture for helping make this special occasion possible. We are grateful to the Williams and Tihista families whose generosity helped establish this important resource, as well as the Good Cents Store volunteers, and many supporters who contributed to bringing Williams Place to life.

Williams Place will provide comfort, convenience, and support to patients and their loved ones throughout their cancer journey.

Join Sidney Health Center and the Foundation for Community Care this afternoon as we celebrate the ribbon cutting of Williams Place, a dedicated lodging resource that provides a comfortable "home away from home" for cancer patients and their families during treatment.

Following the ribbon cutting, community members are invited to tour the condominium until 5:00 p.m. and learn more about how Williams Place helps ease the burden of travel for patients receiving cancer care.

This special project reflects the generosity of local donors, volunteers, and supporters who share our commitment to compassionate care beyond the walls of the hospital.

Please join us in congratulating Eric English, MD, on his retirement from Sidney Health Center.

Dr. English joined the Sidney Health Center Emergency Medicine team in January 2021 after providing locum coverage beginning in May 2018. Throughout his time with our organization, he provided care to patients across the MonDak region with professionalism, compassion, and dedication.

His final shift was Friday, marking the conclusion of a career spent serving patients and communities through emergency medicine. His experience, commitment, and steady presence have made a positive impact on both patients and colleagues.

Thank you, Dr. English, for your years of service to Sidney Health Center and the patients and families you have cared for. We are grateful for the difference you have made and wish you all the best in your retirement and the exciting adventures that lie ahead.
