Boys & Girls Club provides daily after-school programs for youth Grades K-6, special teen programming, including employment opportunities, and a variety of community outreach programs directed toward youth and families The Boys & Girls Club of the MonDak is an after school program designed to provide every child with the essential tools needed for a successful and bright future. The Boys & Girls C

lub of the MonDak staff and volunteers strive to help youth acquire four basic 'senses' that let Club members build self-esteem and grow into responsible, caring citizens. Staff and volunteers promote youth development through instilling:

A Sense of Competence- pride in acquiring skills and knowledge
A Sense of Usefulness- doing something of value for others and themselves
A Sense of Belonging- feeling welcome and accepted
A Sense of Influence- feeling that their opinions are heard and valued

When this strategy is fully implemented, the self-esteem of girls and boys is enhanced and an environment is created which helps them achieve their full potential.

Camping Week

Last week out members spent the morning enjoying the beautiful weather at Richland Park. They had playtime on the equipment, played sports on the lawn, ate lunch under the pavilion, and even had a visit from an FWP officer to learn about animals in our area.

Week Two
Camping week was a lot of fun here at the Club. The kids got to do a lot of creative crafts and experiments and had a few challenges that were based on teamwork! They also had lots of time outside to enjoy the great outdoors. 🌳

Please help us collect school essentials for Richland County elementary and middle school students. Summer has just begun, but it is already time to start gathering supplies for our annual school supply distribution. We will host our distribution event at our Club during the last week of July, and your support can help local students start the school year prepared and confident.

We are looking for bus drivers for two of our field trips this summer. The driver would need a Class C CDL and they would be driving the Boys & Girls Club bus.

1. Thursday June 18th to Fort Union, Fort Buford, and the Confluence.
8:30 AM - 3 PM

2. Wednesday July 22nd to Williston ND
9:30 - 3 PM
