✨Resident Spotlight✨

This month, we’re shining a light on one of our amazing residents, Ruth Iversen! 💛

Born on the road between Colorado and Minnesota, Ruth has lived a life full of meaningful moments and simple wisdom.

Her first job was babysitting, and she later met her husband at a youth convention in Nebraska during college. Family traditions, especially cooking Christmas meals, hold a special place in her heart, along with hobbies like education, piano, and sewing.

Ruth values respect, personal responsibility, and giving back, sharing that if she ever won $1 million, she would donate it.

Ruth’s favorite holiday? Thanksgiving, “because we don’t have to worry about presents, just give thanks.”

Love and laughter filled The Lodge this Valentine’s Day! ❤️

Residents enjoyed a festive celebration featuring bingo, trivia, and delicious refreshments. We are so grateful to the Sidney-Richland Library, Boys & Girls Club, Pella Lutheran Church, Richland Aces 4-H Club, and the Fairview 4-H Club for the beautiful hand-crafted Valentine’s cards that helped make the day extra special.

The celebration also included a heartwarming surprise — a Prom-posal! Staff member Jhonatan enlisted the help of our residents to ask fellow staff member Mariyah to the Prom. She said yes, and the sweet moment was one to remember for everyone involved!💕

💖Spreading Valentine’s Day Cheer at Sidney Health Center! 💖

Staff at Sidney Health Center were treated to carnations today, courtesy of our Employee Engagement Team and senior leadership. As a token of appreciation, this small gesture was a heartfelt reminder of how much we value every member of our Sidney Health Center family.
