The Environmental Celebration held on August 10, 2025, at the Association Hall helped participants learn about watershed dynamics that lead to stormwater erosion and sediment in the lake and what can be done about it. FRCOG worked with the LWA Stormwater Erosion Task Force to organize working models, view demonstrations, create a mural, identify plants found at the boat launch by the W**d Watchers group, and have literature available for those in attendance. A special treat of ice cream was appreciated by those in attendance. A reminder to residents, a webinar will be held on Tuesday, August 12 at 7 p.m. Registration is required at uniqo.de/b8NajE.
Thank you to FRCOG and all the task force members who were able to assist in the Environmental Celebration.
