This weekend Dr Merryman, Lily, Amy, Jen & Anna graciously volunteered their time to help serve our community through RAM (Remote Area Medical). 👏🏼

This volunteer organization runs pop-up clinics across the United States and is fueled by donations and driven by volunteers.

Enrolled in Medicaid? Comfort Food Community has a healthy food program for you! 🥗 🥕 🥛

Could you use a little extra support accessing healthy food? You're not alone!

If you’re currently enrolled in Medicaid, you may be eligible for an enhanced PRx program through the Social Care Network led by Healthy Alliance and offered by Comfort Food Community.

Participants can receive weekly vouchers by mail for up to six months—helping provide three healthy meals a day, seven days a week. Vouchers can be used on fresh produce, protein, dairy, grains, and other nourishing foods at participating farmers’ markets, farm stands, and local grocery stores/co-ops across Washington County and parts of Saratoga and Warren counties.

Thank you to everyone who made this weekend’s free healthcare clinic a success!

In gratitude for:
~ for coming in from TN with all the medical equipment and core volunteers to run this clinic - What a talented, professional and caring crew.
~ All our local volunteers - Doctors, nurses, PAs, PTs, translators, students, general help who were ready to do everything from hauling equipment, making delicious food and serving the volunteers, welcoming patients, doing data entry, etc - who all really showed up for all the patients this weekend. *SO many new faces!*
~ Our host location, Schuylerville Central School, whose facilities manager, custodial and kitchen staff went over and above to welcome and take care of our needs so we could take care of the community.
~ The over 300 patients who showed up for health care for themselves, their family, community members and friends.
~ Our sponsors whose generosity allows us to host this yearly clinic.
~ The community resource groups who set up and offered information and resources to patients all weekend.

It’s the last day of our clinic! Get there early! Doors open at 6 AM. Last new patient is let in at around 11 am, then we’ll finish up with patients inside and then we clean up and RAM trucks of equipment will get on the road.

Schuylerville, we are ready! For the RAM Free Clinic - Schuylerville, NY! Patients can begin arriving right after midnight to get in line for services. Enter off Spring Street and follow the driveway up to the school to be greeted and given a number and more information. Come early! Doors open at 6 am and patients will be served in the order they arrived.

Thank you to Schuylerville Central School District staff for being so welcoming and to all our local volunteers and the Remote Area Medical - RAM volunteers for all this service to our community. See you tomorrow!
