Join Shrewsbury Youth Soccer this Saturday, October 17 as Holy Cross Men’s Soccer takes on Army at 12:00 PM!

Our Preschool–Grade 2 players will have the opportunity to:
⚽ Walk onto the field with the teams before kickoff
⚽ Play on the Holy Cross field during halftime
⚽ Cheer on the Crusaders alongside their SYS teammates and families

🎟️ Free admission
🚗 Free parking
👕 Wear your SYS jersey!

Next Sunday, October 11, from 2 PM to 6 PM at SAC Park, Shrewsbury Little League is hosting a community event to support Kaylee Machado, a Shrewsbury student who has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, and her family. SYS has donated an SYS merch raffle basket and two registrations for the spring season.

Thank you to Coach DeLuca’s Gr 5/6 girls team volunteering as ball girls at the annual pink game hosted by the Shrewsbury Girls Varsity Soccer team. The ball girls were an awesome help and it was a great game vs Wachusett ending in a 1-1 draw. The SHS girls remain undefeated! ⚽️💪💙💛

🌧️🌧️Due to the impending nor'easter this weekend, Shrewsbury Parks and Rec have decided to close all town fields beginning Friday, 9/25 until Monday morning, 9/28.

If you have practices tomorrow or games on Saturday at Foundation, Municipal, Floral or Coolidge, your events will be canceled.

Glavin field, which is not managed by the town, will remain open until noon on Saturday. All games after that time have been postponed by cmysl already.

If you have questions, please check in with your coach.

Coaches will work to reschedule canceled games when possible and will communicate any makeup dates directly with their teams.

🎗️💙 PLAYING FOR KAYLEE 💙🎗️

This season, you’ll see something special on the helmets of our Shrewsbury Little League players—a reminder that they’re not just playing for themselves. They’re PLAYING FOR KAYLEE. 🥎⚾️

One of our softball players, Kaylee, was recently diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer. While Kaylee may not be able to take the field right now, her teammates are carrying her with them every time they step onto the field.

When Kaylee can’t play on her own, we’ll play for her. 💙

And there’s a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and support Kaylee and her family. Friends and family have organized an amazing, family-friendly fundraiser featuring:

🎯 Yard games
🎟️ Raffles
🌮 Food trucks
🎶 Live music
💙 And so much more!
