Tahjma Bradshaw Foundation

Tahjma Bradshaw Foundation Tahjma Bradshaw Foundation This non-profit organization was established through Tahjma "TY" Bradshaw's family.

Although Tahjma is no longer with us physically, she is with us spiritually. We will continue her war to fight brain cancer and by raising awareness in hopes of keeping her loving, philanthropic spirit alive. She continues to live on through the lives she has touched and her foundation. One of Tahjma’s goals was to help other children cope with brain cancer and to find a cure. The Tahjma Bradshaw

Foundation is committed to doing just that. In addition to supporting extensive research, we are committed to providing care to the pediatric population and the families across the nation affected by during a very difficult time.

Grief doesn’t have to be beautiful to be valid.
If you could just see my heart. My heart is a knot of feelings. If only you could see it, it would look like this; messy, colorful, and tangled. There are some strands not shown like numbness, chaos, exhaustion, loneliness, and exhaustion. Grief is not pretty.

Sometimes it’s not about saying the “right” thing it’s about saying something real.

And sometimes there are NO words.
And that’s okay too.

You don’t have to fill the silence! You don’t have enough words to fix the heart break. So let’s try this:

Instead of “I know how you feel”…
say “I can’t imagine your heartbreak.”

Instead of “You’re strong”…
say “I’m here.”

Instead of “You look okay”…
Ask “How are you really doing today?”

Instead of “Healing takes time”…
say “There’s no timeline for this.”

Instead of “Everything happens for a reason”…
say “I know this doesn’t make sense.”

And sometimes… love says nothing at all.
It just stays

Grief is not just about what we lost.
It’s about everything that was supposed to be!!!
We grieve for more than just the person!!!

We grieve the past moments we shared!!!
Now memories we hold onto really tightly.
We become the keeper of a past
that used to be shared.

And we grieve the future!!! What coulda or shoulda been.

The plans.
The dreams.
The life we thought we would have with them.

The moments that never got the chance to happen.

Today I want to acknowledge Mia Love. The first Black Republican woman elected to Congress.

She passed away on March 23, 2025, at just 49 years old after battling a glioblastoma.

Grief doesn’t always come after a long goodbye.
Sometimes it comes suddenly… and it takes the air out of you.

If you’re grieving… I see you.
If you love someone who is grieving… please stay and listen for the next 30 days!
I’m going to talk about grief AGAIN!!!
The kind people don’t always understand.
I’m going to talk about what it does to your mind, your body, your faith and your family. The things people say that hurt even when they mean well. I’m going to talk about the children who are grieving too but often get overlooked.
And I’m going to tell you what this journey has been like for me.

YESSS we are going to talk about it AGAIN!!! Because grief doesn’t have a timeline.
And it doesn’t look the same for any of us.

Today we acknowledge Jason Collins who is currently undergoing treatments for stage 4 glioblastoma.

Glioblastoma is one of the most aggressive and devastating forms of brain cancer.

Stories like Jason’s remind us that this disease does not discriminate!!! It touches lives across all walks of life.

Please stand in prayer, in hope, and in solidarity with him and with every person facing this diagnosis.

Jason you are not alone!!!

Today begins our 35 days of honoring lives touched by brain cancer.

FIRST!!! You may see me mention well-known names in these post and I want to be crystal clear why.

Their visibility brings attention, awareness, and urgency to this disease. And we need that.

Please hear me and understand this from my heart… this page is NOT just for the known.

This is for EVERY PERSON fighting, surviving, grieving, hoping, praying, and waiting for a cure.

If you have someone you love PLEASE say their name. Send them to us. We will honor them. We will speak their name.

Because every life matters. Every story matters.

And we are believing for healing, breakthroughs and a cure—FOR ALL!!!🤍In her honor 🤍🎗️Tahjma “Ty”
