Our 2026 New Dimensions Choral Society Festival of Negro Spirituals, traditionally held annually on the last Sat. of , which this year was the last day of the month, Feb. 28.
Guest choirs included the Ebony Jubilee Singers (children’s choir) under the direction of our own John Collins, the Southwood High School Concert Choir under the direction of our own Anthony Cheathem, the A Ca****la Concert Choir of Wiley University under the direction of Bruce A. Thompson, and Heritage Chorale from Baton Rouge under the direction of Clarence Jones, with us, the NDCS under the direction of our Artistic Director Patricia Britton-Hall and Assistant Director Michael J. Harris, with opening and closing numbers by the assembled choirs and audience.
