It’s not too late to get yourself together and handle your business. One difficult chapter does not have to define what comes next. Take this opportunity to address what’s been weighing on you and move forward with a plan.
Today, Saturday, October 10, the Shreveport City Marshal’s Office is holding Amnesty Day from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Shreveport City Courthouse.
People with eligible outstanding warrants through Shreveport City Court may have their warrant recalled, address the matter in court, and receive a new court date without being arrested or charged additional fees. If you have delinquent fines, you may pay them or request a new payment schedule.
Please note: Warrants involving domestic abuse battery, battery of a dating partner, DWI, or probation are not eligible for recall and require a bond.
Don’t let fear or embarrassment keep you from taking a step toward resolving your situation. There is still time today; show up, ask questions, and take care of your business.
