ABOUT US- LUMPY GRITTS ARTISTRY- Abilita Artistica and Talent Artistique are the first and primary function of Lumpy Grits. It’s founded on the principles of motivation, therapy, and inspiration first and foremost through the artistic mediums of literary, musical, lyrical, visual, and culinary arts. Lumpy Grits Artistry, LLC does not exclude anyone because of a disability, ethnicity, race, creed, origin, gender, genetics, sexual orientation, political, or religious. We don’t focus on negativity but we look at life in a realistic, idealistic, and whimsical way. The Outreach program functions under the umbrella of Lumpy Grits Artistry, LLC. The Sidewalk Krewe Network is the daughter organization under this umbrella. In the future it has the potential of becoming a full nonprofit organization. We welcome volunteers to work under us; however we are an individual organization that stands alone. All checks that are made to the company Lumpy Grits Artistry, LLC. All items sold under the artistry are put back into the company to fund instruments, paper, culinary items, shows, costumes, properties for Lumpy Grits Artistry, LLC. March 2, 2013 was the experimental Artistic Revue with various artists from both sides of the tracks. Featured artist, Chryshelle Jennings, performs select poems from her up and coming book "Put your ears to my heart". The show was taped in front of a live audience March 2,2013 7pm. Lumpy Grits Artistry anticipates featuring a new artist each year. So that each show will have its own uniqueness and flavor as the previous one.
