Chag Sukkot Sameach! As we gather in our sukkahs this week, we’re reminded that true strength comes from building community, not walls. We are stronger when we’re together.
This is the heart of our work at :
Building communities strong enough to shelter all.
Creating lasting connections that provide meaning and security.
Ensuring no one faces life’s uncertainties alone.
Wishing you a joyful Sukkot filled with connection and celebration.

The North Louisiana Jewish Federation is a proud sponsor of OUTnorthLa Film Festival presented by PACE. The timing of Rosh Hashanah prevented us having a screening this year, so it was especially nice to hear from the organizers about the film called Bookends, which will be at the Robinson Film Center on Tuesday, Sept. 15 at 7:30 pm and Thursday, Sept. 17 at 5:30 pm. The film is still completing its festival run, so it’s not yet scheduled for streaming. Enjoy!

This High Holy Day season, we pause to reflect not only on the year ahead, but on who we are called to be.
The challenges before us are real. But so is our strength, our responsibility, and our ability to respond together.
As One, we choose hope.
As One, we choose community.
As One, we choose the future.
Shanah Tovah.
