Fees are $45.00 for Cub Participants
$15.00 for Adults and Scouts BSA Youth Staff.
Saturday Meals will be provided for registrants. Friday Night and Sunday morning meals are not included.

University of Scouting is a supplemental training opportunity for all adult Scout Leaders and Youth in Scouts BSA and Venturing and Order of the Arrow. You will find a variety of Training opportunities in the program areas of Cub Scouting, Scouts BSA, Order of the Arrow and General Skills. Whether you are a seasoned veteran of scouting or new to scouting there is sure to be a class just for you. The Colleges are College of Cub Scouting, College of Scouts BSA, College of Scouting Skills and Order of the Arrow.

CUB SCOUTS START YOUR ENGINES!! The Council Pinewood Derby is NEXT WEEKEND, April 30th! Weigh- in is Friday, April 29th. Get signed up today at Norwela.Tentaroo.com! Remember, no registrations will be taken on race day. You must sign up ahead of time and registration will close on Thursday at midnight, so don't delay! All Scouts are welcome to participate in the Council Pinewood Derby, regardless of Unit derby results.
Here are the 2022 Council Pinewood Derby rules. Please read them carefully so everyone will be race-ready when the arrive on Friday!

The Swimming Merit Badge Course will be Sunday, May 1st, Sunday, May 15th and Sunday, May 29th from 3 pm to 5 pm at Kinsey Scout Reservation.

This course will help scouts be safer around and in the water, help improve their swimming ability by virtue of improved stroke mechanics and swimming endurance, and better enable scouts to perform requirements in Lifesaving Merit Badge.

Takeaways for the Scouts:
Understanding of what types of ailment or health concerns one may encounter at the waterfront or pool and common first aid for these.
How body position affects floating on one's front and back.
How floating can be a survival technique.
How to minimize heat loss if found in cold water.
Understand the meaning of rhythmical breathing, good stroke mechanics and body hydrodynamics when swimming.
How to correctly do the front crawl, back crawl, breaststroke, elementary back stroke, side stroke and trudgen.
