Latonzia Montgomery the founder and Director of Excel Autism Behavioral and Educational Center. She is a dedicated advocate for autism awareness and support, particularly in the Shreveport, Louisiana area. As a mother of three sons on the autism spectrum, she brings personal experience to her advocacy efforts. Professionally, she has served as an Education Specialist with Families Helping Families of Southwest Louisiana, Inc., collaborating with multiple parishes and special education directors to support families and individuals with autism. 
In 2016, Latonzia was honored with the HollyRod Autism Champion Award for her contributions to the autism community. She is also the founder and Director of the Excel Autism and Behavioral Center, aiming to provide resources and support for individuals with autism and their families.  
Together with her son, Micah Frank, Latonzia co-authored the book “Autism Voices—‘Words of Wisdom’,” which offers insights and encouragement for those affected by autism. 
Latonzia continues to engage the community through workshops and speaking engagements, sharing her family’s journey to foster understanding and acceptance of autism. For instance, she and her son Micah are scheduled to speak at the “Autism Is NOT a Dirty Word” event on April 12th, 2025, organized by Families Helping Families Region 7. 
Her commitment to autism advocacy is also evident on her social media platforms, where she raises awareness and offers support to other families navigating similar experiences.
