🎓🚌 **EXPOSURE CAN CHANGE A STUDENT’S FUTURE!**

What happens when a young person steps onto a college campus for the first time?

College becomes more than something they hear about from teachers, counselors or family. It becomes a place they can actually picture themselves.**

Thanks to the generous support of the **Taco Bell Foundation and our $58,000 Community Grant**, the Red Shield Youth Center is creating opportunities for students throughout Caddo and Bossier to experience college firsthand.

Last year, our students traveled to the **University of Louisiana at Lafayette**. They had an opportunity to explore the campus, experience college life and begin thinking about an important question:

Could this be me one day?”

College tours are an important part of college readiness because exposure matters. Students can learn about majors, admissions, scholarships, financial aid, campus life and the expectations of becoming a college student.

Now we're preparing for our next experience!

🚌 ROAD TRIP TO SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY!

🎓 Registration is NOW OPEN!

We are thankful to the Taco Bell Foundation for investing in experiences that help our students dream bigger, explore their options and begin making plans for life after high school.

And thank YOU for Rounding Up at your local Taco Bell Restaurant. Your change helps support organizations like RSYC that are working every day to create opportunities for the next generation.

Sometimes seeing what's possible is the first step toward believing it's possible.

At RSYC, we want our students to understand that preparation creates possibilities. Through tutoring, practice, encouragement and access to educational resources, we are helping young people become more confident about taking their next steps.

Students who attend our afterschool program are able to get specialized help with developing their skills in math and English.

The Taco Bell Foundation's investment allows us to continue giving students access to these resources without allowing financial barriers to stand between them and opportunity.

💜 Thank you, Taco Bell Foundation, for investing in the potential of our young people.

🌟 INVESTING IN OUR YOUTH. BUILDING BRIGHTER FUTURES. 🌟

A huge THANK YOU to the Taco Bell Foundation for awarding the Red Shield Youth Center **$58,000** to expand college and career preparation opportunities for young people in Caddo and Bossier!

One way this investment is already making a difference is through our ASVAB preparation program

📈 Students who participated in our program last year improved their ASVAB scores by an average of 22.5 points!

That improvement can mean more than a higher test score. A stronger ASVAB score can help students qualify for additional military career fields and give them more choices as they plan their futures.

We are grateful to the Taco Bell Foundation for believing in the potential of our young people and helping RSYC provide the preparation, instruction and encouragement they need to succeed.
