It is sad to see vandalism occur so often at the playground located at A C Steer Park that was the dream of and became reality from the hard work of Dr. Karen Gordon. Karen devoted her energy to organize volunteers and pull the community together to donate and build this play ground for children of all abilities... and then you have disturbed individuals that do vandalism like this. The city and police can't do it all to stop this kind of activity. If you see something... say something... call 911. Working together we can all make Shreveport a place that has great places for families to play and enjoy and we can stop those who do vandalism like this.
(Shreveport, La.) -- A park, designed to accommodate handicapped children, is left destroyed and vandalized.
