🙌

On behalf of Southern University at Shreveport (SUSLA), I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the United Way of Northwest Louisiana for your generous donation of 40 boxes of scrubs to our Allied Health Sciences and Nursing programs.

Your commitment to supporting the "ALICE" (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) population through this initiative directly alleviates significant financial barriers for our students. By providing these essential supplies, you are not only easing the burden on those pursuing their education but also investing in the future of our regional workforce.

We are proud to partner with organizations that share our dedication to student success and community support. Thank you for your continued partnership and for the positive impact you are making in our students' lives.

Sincerely,
Dr. Aubra J. Gantt, Chancellor
Southern University at Shreveport

Community policing goes beyond the call.

After working a disturbance in the area, Deputy Rufus Porter took a few minutes to shoot some hoops with kids at on Barron Road.

Moments like these reinforce our commitment to building relationships, earning trust, and staying connected with the communities we serve.
