We try to stay positive and as upbeat as possible. Today is not that day. Some may agree with what we are about to say, some may not. We really don’t care if you disagree, sorry.

I am saying this now for me personally and will not say it is speaking for the whole organization although they agree. These are my words and I don’t really care what anyone else thinks. IT IS AGAINST THE LAW TO CROP YOUR DOG’S EARS UNLESS DONE BY A LICENSED VETERINARIAN!!!! IF YOU DECIDE TO MUTILATE YOUR ANIMAL YOURSELF I WILL REPORT YOU TO THE AUTHORITIES. THIS IS CONSIDERED ANIMAL CRUELTY! IF YOU DO THIS YOU ARE NOT WELCOMED TO USE OUR SERVICES. THIS IS A LAW, NOT AN OPTION, AND NOT A SUGGESTION TO PLEASE DO WHAT IS RIGHT. 8 pups came in for shots today. Pictured below are 7. We are thankful they were brought in to get their vaccinations.
The 8th is a story on it’s on and may make some people upset, some for the right reasons, some for the wrong reasons. Stay tuned for that one!!!

In the summer of 2019 a young man came to the office and knocked on our door. Vicki and I were there. We asked how we could help him. He asked how he could help us and introduced himself. He was a Veterinarian and wanted to help his community. Vicki and I looked at each other and said, we would love to be able to have a rabies clinic. He said, I think we can work that out.

Dr. Caleb Killian, owner of Cornerstone Veterinary Hospital has been coming up once a month since 2019 to administer rabies vaccines and answer questions. That is 7 years of dedication and service to his community to help the animals and we and our clients are so appreciative. You don’t often find that kind of commitment from someone who is super busy.

Since he started with us in September of 2019 we have watched his precious family grow from he and is beautiful wife Camille to adding two handsome boys. This month they will be welcoming another boy to their crew. We will NOT HAVE A RABIES CLINIC this month so that Dr. Killian’s family can enjoy their new baby.

Please join us in wishing the Killian’s a safe, easy delivery for Mom and a healthy baby boy.
We can’t wait to see this new, precious miracle! ❤️

Our services are for the pets of the homeless, Veterans, low income, and disabled. Proof of income or status is required. If you are a Caddo Parish resident proof of spay/neuter is needed.

The 1st and 3rd Thursdays are 5-1 Vaccination day for pups and 1-HCPCh for cats from 9:00-11:00. Please come as early as possible. We don’t make appointments and don’t accept anyone after 11. We ask that you be here no later than 30 minutes before our closing time.

Our rabies clinic is the 4th Wednesday of every month from 11-12:30 unless posted differently on FB. Please be here by 12:00.

This is a very important need for not only our clients but Hope House clients. Please help if you are able.

We are in bad need of help on Tuesday Mornings 9-10:30 every week! We need a male that has a pick up who would be willing to go to a local store to pick up items. This is where we get most of our items for our food pantry so it is an important need that we fill for our housed individuals! If you have been looking for somewhere to serve this could be for you. Some sweet babies came in today for our rabies clinic. We were busy all throughout the clinic and missed a picture of one pup. 10 got their rabies vaccine, certificate, and tag.

Our next rabies clinic will be on October 28th from 11-12:30. Dr. Killian and his wife Camille will be welcoming a new addition to their family in September and we want them to have every moment they need to enjoy their new little one. Brothers JT and Joseph are anxiously awaiting their new sibling!
