We are completely out of dry dog and cat food!

Donations can be dropped by our offices at Hope House during our service hours or at Hollywood Feed, just let them know that the supplies are for us.

This week at Nova's Heart, we have food and supply day's on Wednesday and Friday. We hope to see you then!

Our services are for the pets of the homeless, Veterans, low income, and disabled. Proof of income or status is required. If you are a Caddo Parish resident proof of spay/neuter is needed.
The 1st and 3rd Thursdays are 5-1 Vaccination day for pups and 1-HCPCh for cats from 9:00-11:00. Please come as early as possible. We don’t make appointments and don’t accept anyone after 11. We ask that you be here no later than 30 minutes before our closing time.
Our rabies clinic is the 4th Wednesday of every month from 11-12:30, unless posted differently on FB. Please be here by 12:00.

We are so excited to be at Paws in the Park powered by Real Estate to the Rescue next Saturday. We are also sad that this will be the last one. Please come out and support this wonderful event that supports our local animal organizations. They have done so much for all of us over the years and we hate to see them go but we know it is very hard work all year long to get ready for this great event.
To all the realtors and sponsors we want to let you know how very much you are appreciated and we hope you get a moment of rest since you have worked so hard year round for all of us for 10 years. ❤️❤️❤️

After 10 incredible years, it’s time to share some bittersweet news.

The 10th Annual Paws in the Park will also be our FINAL Paws in the Park. 🐶🐱

For a decade, Paws in the Park has brought together animal lovers, families, rescues, local businesses, volunteers, and some pretty amazing four-legged friends for one big day dedicated to celebrating animals and supporting the organizations that care for them.

What started as an idea grew into something bigger and more special than we ever imagined. ❤️

Our directors are all volunteers with full-time careers, families, and commitments of our own. As Paws in the Park has grown, so has the time and work required to make it happen. After a lot of thought, we decided that 10 years is the perfect place to close this chapter.

But we’re not going quietly. 😉

Today, October 1st, is vaccination day from 9-11:30. We do not take anyone that arrives after 11. We always want to give our clients the time they deserve so please come early. Can’t wait to show you all the pups and kitties we hope come in for their shots.

We serve the pets of the homeless, low income, Veterans, and disabled. Proof of income or status is required. If you live in Caddo Parish it is a law to have your pet spay/neutered and we must have proof of that.

Today is regular vaccines for dogs and cats. October 28th is our rabies clinic from 11-12:30. If you need both shots they can be given in most cases during our rabies clinic.

As September draws to a close, we wanted to share out our wishlist for the month. We are running low on cat and dog treats, and we can always use more dry cat and dog food.

Our friends over at Hollywood Feed are happy to be a drop off location for donations. You can purchase items there or bring them in and drop them off, just let them know at the register that the items are for Nova's Heart.

We are so grateful to them for being such a great community partner for us and always being willing to lend a helping paw!
