Hours and services for June 10th and June 12th. If you are a client or just want a calendar with our dates and services they are always on our desk at the office. You can pick up one when you come by.

Our services are for the pets of the homeless, Veterans, low income, and disabled. Proof of income or status is required. Proof of spay/neuter is required if you are a Caddo Parish resident.

Services include: pet food, treats, collars, harnesses, leashes, p**p bags, blankets, vaccinations on designated vaccination days, and a once a month rabies clinic. Occasionally we do have cat litter, kennels, and beds.

All of these services are free if you meet our requirements.

If you have any questions please refer to posts on the page before you message. We are all volunteers and have jobs and other obligations so it may be a little while before we can get back to you.

House is so good to us. If you are able please help them with snacks.

We are about to be completely out of snacks! We have not been getting as many donuts as we usually do. After Monday that will be it! So if you can donate please drop off Monday-Friday 8am-2pm! Please share so we can fill this need! Thanks for all you do for Hope House

Five pups came in today for shots. They were all good boys and girls! ❤️
One of our local animal rescues, K Krewe Animal Rescue had one of their board members come up to see what we do and lend a hand. We love it when our animal organizations are interested in helping out others. Thank you Susan for helping out today and wanting to learn more about what we do. ❤️

The 1st and 3rd Thursdays are 5-1 Vaccination day for pups and 1-HCPCh for cats from 9:00-11:30. Please come as early as possible. We don’t make appointments and don’t accept anyone after 11. We ask that you be here no later than 30 minutes before our closing time.

Our rabies clinic is the 4th Wednesday of every month from 11-1 unless posted differently on FB. Please be here by 12:30.

I am so sorry we are late posting this thank you. We have gotten some wonderful donations over this last month, some we know who they are from and some we don’t. Real job, injury, graduations, and a few other things have gotten us behind.
Most of this has already been handed out to those in need but we wanted you to know how much we appreciate you all.
Anyway, if you have donated just know that we are deeply thankful and you are all a huge treasure to us and to the pets of our clients. We are only boots on the ground, YOU make the real work happen! ❤️❤️❤️

For those who are not aware we occasionally like to make a post about what we do.

WE ARE NOT A RESCUE!

WE DO NOT TAKE IN ANY ANIMALS!

WE WILL CONTINUALLY TELL YOU THAT IT IS A LAW IN CADDO PARISH TO HAVE YOUR ANIMALS SPAY/NEUTERED. THAT IS NOT A SUGGESTION, IT IS THE LAW!

WE PROVIDE NECESSARY ITEMS FOR CATS AND DOGS THAT BELONG TO THE HOMELESS, VETERANS, LOW INCOME, AND DISABLED. FOOD, COLLARS, HARNESSES, LEASHES, AND OTHER THINGS ARE HANDED OUT DURING OUR OFFICE HOURS WHICH ARE ALWAYS POSTED IN THE FEATURED POST ON OUR PAGE. WE HAVE VACCINATION DAYS THAT ARE ALWAYS POSTED ON OUR PAGE. PROOF OF INCOME AND/OR STATUS IS REQUIRED.

We hand out approximately 1800 to 2000 pounds of food every month. That is equivalent to around 45 bags of 44 pound bags of dog and cat food and 7 to 8 big boxes of Milk Bones are handed out as well. Every single month! Understand that we are only there about 24 hours every month. If we were able to be there more often we are sure we could hand out more but we are all volunteers with other obligations and work as well.

We try to help our local animal community when we are able. Our local rescues work so hard to help the animals and every single one of them are overwhelmed and stressed with the amount of animals they are trying to save. Please show some kindness when dealing with them. They are providing a mostly volunteer run, thankless job that never ends.

We are extremely fortunate that we don’t have to ask for food or treats very often. We always seem to have people that just donate because they know there is a need. We appreciate that so very much!

Anyone is always welcome to come up during our office hours and visit to see what we do. We appreciate all of your support over the last almost 12 years and hopefully we will be around to help the animals in our community for many more. ❤️❤️❤️
