It is time for our annual fundraiser. As President of New Arts Musique, I am pleased to request that our friends and family support our mission by making a donation. Our organization's goals are two-fold: firstly, to continue awarding scholarships to students majoring in Arts in Education, and secondly, to fulfill our institutional obligations. My personal fundraising goal is $1000.00. To contribute, you can send funds via Cashapp to $Newarts or contact me directly for alternative donation methods. Will you help us achieve our objective?

Another great voice silenced.

Walter Theodore "Sonny" Rollins was an American jazz tenor saxophonist who is widely recognized as one of the most important and influential jazz musicians. In a seven-decade career, Rollins recorded more than sixty albums as a leader.

Our celebration of Women's History Month continues as we honor Natorshau Davis. Natorshau serves as the Head of School at Bossier Christian Academy. This year marks her 29th year in education. Prior to joining Bossier Christian Academy, she retired from the State of Louisiana after 25 years in teaching and administration, including service in Caddo, DeSoto, and Lincoln Parishes, as well as in higher education at Bossier Parish Community College and Grambling State University. Outside of the school environment, she manages Davis Studio, a private arts studio where she enjoys nurturing creativity and artistic expression. She also serve as the Community Development Coordinator for the Shreveport Regional Arts Council, where she assists artists and arts organizations in securing funding to bring meaningful arts programming to our community. In her spare time, she enjoys singing with and conducting community choruses, which allows her to stay connected to her first love...music. At heart, she is deeply passionate about education, the arts, and community engagement. Her goal is to help students, artists, and emerging leaders reach their full potential through creativity, discipline, and service. We salute Natorshau Davis for "Leading the Change" in the arts.
