Principal Kenneth Berg was our guest speaker last Friday and accepted the $2,000 scholarship check.
According to Berg, CCTC served 1,250 students this year. In 31 years, more than
1,000 scholarships have been given out totaling some $1.7 million since 1995.
Berg was able to announce some great news as the CCTC will move further west off the Inner Loop in the Industrial Park. With $60 million available, groundbreaking will occur in Spring 2027 with plans to move into the larger facility in the Fall of 2028. They hope to serve 2,000 students annually at the new campus.

It was a great meeting today. John Preston had family in from Iowa and Nebraska, and our guest motivational speaker, Robbin Kent, led us in fun hands on activities. We got to play with Legos! Everyone got five Lego pieces to build a representation of what Optimism means to us.

We have the Easter Egg Hunt at the Red Shield Youth Center next Thursday , April 2, at 4 pm. Come on out to help the kids.
