Part of our Troop helped out loading and unloading much needed supplies for Hurricane Ida victims in South Louisiana at Shreveport Network Volunteers. The rest of our Troop will be helping tomorrow. You can drop off supplies Monday-Friday from 5:00-7:00 at Summer Grove Baptist Church in the old Dillard’s building located by Burlington on the side closest to Hwy. 3132. An 18 wheeler truck is coming in Monday afternoon full of donations from Missouri. If you would like to come help unload and sort items, we could use your help!

Our Troop 9 boys did a wonderful job helping in the pantry at Common Ground. We helped people get the food items they needed to prepare some meals. The food is donated by Christ United Methodist Church Shreveport and Grace Community United Methodist Church and the Northwest Louisiana Food Bank. Norwela Council - Boy Scouts of America
