Sadly, Voiture 137 must report the passing of Voyageur Doug Long. He was my colleague as well as my friend. We were wrecked together and we served VL 137 in each other's administration, I was his Correspondant when he was Chef de Gare, he was my Commisaire Intendant. He was one that as Chef de Gare, I could always bounce ideas off and know that his response was what he really thought. Personally, I'll miss him. VL 137 and Post 14 will also miss him. RIP, Doug.
The following was compiled by Chef de Train, Shawn Bohannon.
Voyageur Long continued serving his community, state, and nation as a faithful Paid Up For Life Legionnaire of Lowe-McFarlane Post 14 of The American Legion and a valued member of the post Executive Committee.
