Welcome to the official page for Mount Olive Baptist Church of Shreveport under the senior pastorate of Bishop Bernard Kimble, PhD; but, we are better simply known throughout the world as Mt. Olive Shreveport, or the Place of Love!!
Here at our church, you can expect to find imperfect people serving a perfect God. You can also expect to find a loving, multigenerational church with loving servant-leaders who are doing their best to exemplify the love of God for His people.
At Mt. Olive Shreveport, we are Baptist in our historic foundation by means of soul competency and believer's baptism; Charismatic by our experience through understanding the gifts of the Holy Spirit never ceased and are used for the perfection of the saints, edification, and evangelism and missions projects; and ecumenical in our approach by being all things to all Christians and non-Christians, that some might be saved through our Lord Jesus Christ!
This has been reflected in the outgrowth of churches, leaders, and ministries from us through BKIM Fellowship of Covenant Churches—an interdenominational body of spiritual sons and daughters, and the churches or ministries they have been blessed to lead by following their bishop as he follows Christ.
