Tory has been charged with stealing a vehicle 3 times, felony theft, distribution of drugs, using a stolen debit card, assault, and fraud. Again, what was he even doing on the streets?

Joe e had 5 arrests with OVER 15 charges before this ever happened, including 9 charges of Theft of a Firearm for which James Stewart gave him a plea deal to ONLY 5 years in prison and dismissed 7 of the 9 charges. He shouldn't have been out of prison to allow this to even happen with that many arrests. Now his wife and kids are scared forever because he was out of jail on a sweetheart plea deal from James.

SHREVEPORT MAN TO SERVE 14 YEARS FOR ATTACK ON WIFE

A Shreveport man was sentenced to 14 years in prison Tuesday, September 26, 2023, for attempting to strangle his wife.

Joe Butler Jr., 31, was sentenced by Caddo District Judge Chris Victory to eight years in prison for an August 24, 2021 assault on his wife during which he choked her to unconsciousness after she confronted him about smoking synthetic ma*****na in their home. Butler attacked his wife in their bathroom, strangling her while three minor children, ages 11, 7 and 4, stood on the other side of the bathroom door. The wife regained consciousness and escaped to a neighbor’s house, where she called 911.

Butler, who pleaded guilty to the charges August 16, 2023, was sentenced to 10 years in prison at hard labor for domestic abuse battery with serious bodily injury, with a multiple offender provision. He was sentenced to four years on each of three counts of domestic abuse battery with child endangerment, to be served concurrently with each other but consecutive to the bodily injury conviction.

The court also granted permanent protective orders to the victim and the minor children.

Butler was defended by Dick Dave Knadler. He was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Britney A. Green, Christopher Bowman and Ron Christopher Stamps.

The case was docket No. 386600.

Arnold Ballard was previously arrested for Robbery in 2022. He was given a plea deal by James Stewart, whereas he only got two years in prison, that's right ONLY 2 years for ROBBERY, and credit for time served. If he was in prison where he should be from the first robbery charge, he wouldn't have been in a position to beat a man and rob him on Mansfield Road. Why was this man let go, James?
