Walking with Purpose. Stepping Forward in Hope.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Delta Lambda Omega Chapter enjoyed participating in and supporting the Shreveport/Bossier City Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Saturday, October 3, at Sheriff’s Safety Town!

Together with fellow community members, we walked to honor those affected by Alzheimer’s, remember loved ones and show support for families and caregivers navigating this disease.

Every step reflected our commitment to service, compassion and a future without Alzheimer’s. We were proud to stand alongside the Alzheimer’s Association in raising awareness and inspiring hope.

Together, we can make a difference—one step at a time! 💜

United to Support Survivors. Committed to Ending Domestic Violence.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Delta Lambda Omega Chapter and Ivy Crown Foundation, Inc. were honored to support Petrina’s Purple Passion Domestic Violence Awareness Luncheon Fundraiser and Silent Auction on October 2.

With the theme “Putting the Pieces Together: Community Partners United to Empower, Heal & End Domestic Violence,” this event underscored the power of community in supporting survivors, promoting healing and building a future free from abuse.

We commend Petrina’s Purple Passion for bringing awareness to this critical issue and creating space for hope, advocacy and action.

Everyone deserves to feel safe, valued and respected. Together, let’s raise awareness, stand with survivors and help end domestic violence. 💜🩷💚

What a beautiful way to reconnect! 💗💚

Our Essence of Sisterhood candle-making activity gave us time to laugh, create, and enjoy one another’s company. Thank you to Brande of Liquidscents & Beyond Candle Bar for guiding us!

Every candle was unique, just like the light each Soror brings to Delta Lambda Omega. Here’s to keeping our sisterhood glowing! 🕯️✨
