We’re grateful to Girls Empowered for More Society, Inc. for inviting our team out to spend time with such an amazing group of young ladies. We came prepared to teach digital safety—but we left genuinely impressed. This group of girls already knew so much about protecting themselves online, spotting red flags, and making smart choices when engaging on social media and in apps. Seeing that level of awareness and confidence was powerful.

A huge thank you to our wonderful volunteers and cyber professionals who helped make the presentation smooth, engaging, and impactful. Your time, energy, and support are what make this work possible.

We’re honored to be part of the mission to keep our youth informed, empowered, and protected. 🛡️✨

💡 Idea we’re exploring: What if online safety could be taught through a fun, movement-based team game?

We’re working on a concept called Level Up: Digital Safety Adventure 🎲 ♟️— a kid-friendly program designed for elementary and middle school students that helps them learn how to:
✅ protect personal info
✅ spot online red flags
✅ handle cyberbullying as an “upstander”
✅ understand AI basics (deepfakes & misinformation)
✅ follow a simple safety plan: Stop → Screenshot → Tell → Block → Report

Before we take this any further, we’d love to hear from our community:

✨ Tomorrow is the big day! ✨

These medals are ready for our young engineers at The Byte Project: Build + Play Day 🎮💻

Tomorrow, kids ages 8–10 will build, code, and play their very own handheld game consoles — and walk away with a well-earned medal celebrating their hard work, creativity, and courage to try something new.

We’re so excited to see the confidence, curiosity, and joy on their faces as they become engineers for the day.

Let’s build it. Code it. Play it. 💻

🎉 Successful Tech Day to Close Out Cybersecurity Awareness Month! 🔒💻

Project I/O is beyond grateful for the incredible volunteers from Barksdale Air Force Base who made our Tech Day at South Pointe Place Apartments such a success! 🙌

Together, we helped residents strengthen their digital safety skills through a hands-on Digital Safety Workshop — and donated 14 new devices (6 laptops, 5 tablets, and 3 Amazon Kindles) to empower continued learning and connection. 💪📱💻

A huge thank you to our dedicated Air Force volunteers for sharing their time, knowledge, and heart with our senior community. 💙 Your service extends far beyond the uniform!
