We are experiencing over-population at our rescue organizations and shelters. We desperately need foster homes so that our animals in need will have a safe place to stay for 2 weeks to 2 months, just until they can be transported to places where they will be adopted or kept safe in no-kill shelters, immediately upon their arrival. If you cannot volunteer time right now, we can help to guide you to
certified rescue organizations who need even very small donations to continue and expand their services. When you help to save the life of an animal in need who is being cared for by any rescue organization, you are actually not saving just ONE animal; it frees up space, so you are actually saving TWO LIVES!!! Rescue animals need food and vet care, too! Rescue animals need safe places to stay in Shreveport/Bossier, for just a few days … until we can get them on transport to safe rescue organizations across the country! If you can take care of a foster animal — for just a few days — until we can get them safely to no kill shelters across the country, please let us know! Just a few days of your love and care can save hundreds of animals when there’s no room at local shelters. They just need a little time to get scheduled on transport that will take them to other parts of the country where people don't have enough animals to adopt! And, until they are adopted, they are kept safely by no-kill shelters who are in partnership with us to help rescue this area’s animals who are suffering from the sad realities of ignorance and abuse. You can let us know to which rescue you would like your donation to go, or we can give you a list of the non-profit shelters in most need.
