💔 IN KEITHVILLE: FAMILY OF FOUR FOUND DECEASED IN SUSPECTED MURDER-SUICIDE

Keithville, La — A quiet Keithville neighborhood was shattered early Monday morning after four family members — including a toddler — were found deceased inside a home on Mustang Circle in what authorities are investigating as a murder-suicide.

The Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office has identified 60-year-old Leroy Sadler and the victims as 64-year-old Judy Sadler, also killed were their 29-year-old son, James L. Sadler, and his 2-year-old daughter, Adalynn Mae Sadler, both from Logansport.

Caddo Parish Sheriff’s deputies made the horrific discovery at 6:54 a.m. on May 5, 2025, after responding to a welfare check. Each of the victims had suffered fatal gunshot wounds.

Investigators remain at work to determine what led to this devastating act that has left a community reeling and loved ones in mourning.

The deaths of Judy Sadler, James L. Sadler and Adalynn Mae Sadler mark the 13th, 14th and 15th homicides in Caddo Parish to date in 2025.

Autopsies have been ordered as the investigation continues.

A tragedy of this magnitude leaves behind far more than crime scene tape — it leaves behind heartbreak, questions, and the unimaginable pain of those left to pick up the pieces. Our prayers go out to everyone involved. 🤲🏽
