The NLCRC mourns the passing of Dexter Scott King, the youngest son of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King. We extend our deepest condolences and heartfelt prayers to his family and all who knew him. As Chairman of the Board of The King Center, Mr. King committed his life to maintaining, sustaining, and advancing the legacy and protecting the life’s work of his beloved father and family. We are thankful for his lifelong commitment to activism, advocacy, civil rights, and social justice. Rest In Peace & Power, Dexter Scott King!
