Having a simple and quick cognitive test done every six months can be the first identifier of cognitive changes in your loved one. Advocate for yourself and start requesting that your doctor perform a MMSE (Mini-Mental Status Exam) every six months to spot the changes you need to be aware of that can lead to the possibility of early treatment.
