AT THE THRESHOLD: WHEN ALMOST IS NOT ENOUGH — CROSS!

As I read this prophetic word shared by MaryEllen McCloud, one statement particularly resonated with me:

“The disruption in the Atmosphere simply means that you have crossed over the threshold.”

What a powerful connection to our concluding session of At the Threshold: When Almost Is Not Enough — CROSS!

In that final teaching, we emphasized that it is not enough to stand at the threshold of what God has promised. At some point, we must CROSS!

In 2 Kings 7, four lepers made a decision to move beyond the gate, while the king's officer witnessed the fulfillment of God's Word but never experienced its provision.

One group moved in faith and experienced the manifestation of God's provision. The other saw it but never partook of it.

The threshold represents more than a place of transition. It can represent the dividing line between hearing God's promise and experiencing its fulfillment.

And here's another thought: Crossing does not guarantee the absence of opposition. Sometimes the disruption comes AFTER we have crossed!

Don't allow what you encounter on the other side to cause you to question the step of obedience that brought you there.

The same faith that brought you TO the threshold must sustain you BEYOND it!

BELIEVE. OBEY. DECIDE. CROSS!

As you prepare to move into your NEXT, I encourage you to make this declaration personally and prayerfully. Don't just speak it—be prepared to act on it!

I WILL BELIEVE.
I WILL OBEY.

CAN YOU DISPOSSESS THE ENEMIES TO YOUR PROGRESS TO POSSESS WHAT GOD HAS PROMISED?

God gave Israel a promise, but they still had to possess the land. And possession required dispossession!

Sometimes the greatest enemies to our progress are not people, but fear, unbelief, complacency, disobedience, and mindsets that resist God's direction.

Hebrews 12:1 reminds us to "lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us" (NKJV).

Not every weight is sinful, but it can still hinder our progress!

Some things must be laid aside. Others must be confronted. And some strongholds must be pulled down!

You cannot possess the new while continually surrendering territory to the old.

The promise is worth pursuing! Don't allow what must be overcome to keep you from what God has prepared.

Reflection: What are you allowing to occupy territory that God is calling you to possess?

Don't allow what you SEE today to cause you to doubt what God has already SAID!

Circumstances change, but God's Word remains the same. Delay doesn't mean denial, and opposition doesn't mean defeat.

Hold on to what God has spoken. His promises are still true!

2 Corinthians 5:7 — “For we walk by faith, not by sight.”
