The Coalition is currently comprised of a number of community organizations, community leaders, faith groups, law enforcement, public agencies, healthcare professionals, and concerned local residents. red by Naked Mobile and presented by Navajo County Public Health District, the Coalition’s first initiatives include awareness building (the issues, the resources, the solutions) through a series of PSAs as well as presentations to local groups, and fundraising for the local Family Advocacy Center. ***And June 6 through 11 (2016) we’re VERY proud to be welcoming nationally-acclaimed speaker Amy Lang, “The Birds & the Bees Expert”. She will tour Navajo and Apache counties presenting a variety of educational events… for professionals and parents, culminating on Saturday, June 11th in Show Low where she will teach parents and caregivers how to talk to kids and teens about the birds and the bees, and other important topics related to keeping kids safe and healthy.
