It was another big day at the Shoshoni Senior Center.
We had Jay and Don helping Jeannie Weaver Kroenke get the Food Bank delivery out, including this tall box of chips.
We had a church group from Texas who joined us for lunch and helped so much out in the garden.
We had Lance from Range teaching us about scams and Internet safety.
We had Robert Hussa there helping us plan out a sound system upgrade.
We had Debra Williams helping with fair entries.
We had Christmas Club going on.
And, let's not forget, we had spaghetti. Range even paid for everyone's lunch!

The shelves are stocked, the goodies are ready, and the Shoshoni Senior Center Food Pantry is OPEN! 🎉

No need to be a senior citizen.

If you can use a little help with groceries, we'd love to help.

We've got lots of wonderful items available and encourage everyone to stop by and see what's on the shelves.

📋 If you are using the food pantry, please remember to fill out a pantry slip.

👵 If you are a registered senior, simply sign in at the front counter under "Food Pantry."

Easy peasy!

Life is expensive enough these days. If picking up a few groceries helps stretch your budget a little further, that's exactly what the pantry is here for.

So come on in!

WITHOUT running across a field like your pants are on fire? 😂

Well, this is your chance!

Join us for our 🌟 Intergenerational Kite Flying Activity 🌟 this Friday, June 19th at 9:30 a.m.!

The amazingly talented Deb Williams will be teaching us the art of kite flying, and rumor has it she's so good she can teach you how to fly a kite while standing in ONE SPOT! 😲🪁

That's right.

No sprinting.

No marathon training.

No pulling a hamstring.

No calling for an oxygen tank.

Just good old-fashioned fun! 😂❤️

🪁 KITES WILL BE PROVIDED!

🧵 Sewing Club at the Shoshoni Senior Center 🧵

Do you sew, quilt, embroider, mend, or enjoy working on fiber arts projects?

Join us every Monday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Shoshoni Senior Center.

Our Sewing Club is a dedicated group of talented and experienced crafters who enjoy working on projects, sharing techniques, learning from one another, and helping preserve the skills and traditions of sewing and quilting.

Whether you're working on a quilt, alterations, embroidery, mending, or another sewing project, you'll find a welcoming environment and plenty of knowledge around the table.

Don't have a sewing machine? No problem! The Senior Center has sewing machines and other sewing equipment available for participants to use.

You do not need to stay the entire day. Come when you can, stay as long as you'd like, and enjoy spending time with fellow sewing enthusiasts.

🐳💙 Calling All Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and Parents! 💙🐳

Summer is here, and we have a great opportunity to share with the children and families in our community!

Wind River Church will be hosting Vacation Bible School featuring Jonah and the Big Fish for children entering 1st through 6th grade.

📅 June 15-17
⏰ 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
📍 Wind River Church
121 W. 2nd Street, Shoshoni

There will be games, crafts, music, activities, lessons, and plenty of fun packed into three exciting mornings.

At the Senior Center, we know how important it is for children to have positive experiences, make new friends, and stay active during the summer months. We also know a few grandparents who might appreciate having a fun place for the grandkids to spend the morning. 😉
