Today's comes from Scotch Plains, New Jersey. Students from two chapters - ALJ High School and SPF High School - braved the cool, wet weather to rep SMAC at the Scotch Plains Day street festival. Together, they raised $549 for the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation! They also shared a fact or two about childhood cancer, rubbed shoulders with some proud SMAC alumni, and had fun yelling 'come quack with SMAC' to every child in a 30 foot radius 😂

Thank you to our generous neighbors for opening their hearts and wallets to our student leaders 🥰

Got questions about health careers? We've got the people to ask!

Join us for a live virtual panel with college students who are pursuing a health-related career — some of them former SMAC members themselves. They'll be sharing honest, firsthand perspectives on the questions you're probably already asking: What should I major in? How do I get research experience? What does the path to medicine or biotech actually look like?

Join us for some real talk from students who were sitting where you are not too long ago!

September ends TODAY, and so does our Stop & Shop Community Bag fundraiser at 219 Elm Street. Every $2.50 bag sold puts $1 toward SMAC's mission ... and every dollar matters

A little bittersweet note: this Westfield Stop & Shop will be closing later this fall, making this one of the final opportunities to support SMAC through this location. If you've been meaning to stop in, now's the time 🛍️
