📚 Join us this Saturday, March 21 at 1:00PM as award-winning, local authors Valerie Biel, Liam Callanan, Rochelle Melander, and Jeannee Sacken discuss what led them to become authors and what their typical writing days are like. You'll learn what drafting and revising a manuscript entail and pick up some tips on getting an agent or publishing your own work.

This program is part of Shorewood Reads, a "one book, one community" initiative presented by the Shorewood Public Library in partnership with the Friends of Shorewood Public Library.

Hey, Safari Goers!!! Take a slideshow journey to Zimbabwe and South Africa with me and my husband, Michael Briselli, this Thursday, October 23rd, 6:30 p.m. at Shorewood Public Library. I'll be talking about my experiences during our last two photoshoots in southern Africa, and Michael will be talking about rhinos! Safari gear is optional. (My new book, set in Zimbabwe, THE WOMEN WHO STAND BETWEEN, will be available.)

Our next Shorewood Shuffles board game night is this Thursday, March 27th! 😊 Join us in the Library Program Room at 5:30 PM for a casual evening of board game fun. Various games will be provided, and everybody is encouraged to bring their own games too. Meet fellow board game enthusiasts, learn new games, and join our board game community!

All are invited to come enjoy the music of Ceol Cairde (the Music of Friends) on Thursday, March 27th from 6:30 PM - 7:30 PM in the Shorewood Village Center Meeting Room. This performance of traditional Irish music will include jigs, reels, hornpipes, and polkas, with instrumentation from the fiddle, concertina, guitar, tin whistle and flute. These jigs and reels are sure to get everyone tapping their toes and maybe even dancing a bit at this family-friendly event! 🎻🪈🎵
