In its first month pilot, six individuals donated over $2600 through GRSMKE. Ten individuals have received assistance for car repair, emergency lodging, legal fees, clearing of fines, mortgage payments, and medications.

We now have the infrastructure to make this a program that can help bring relief to many here in MKE. Donations may be made through PayPal ([email protected]), Venmo (-Stimulus), and Cashapp ($GrassrootsStimulus).

Introducing: Grassroots Stimulus MKE
Have you wondered how you can effectively and efficiently help those who are struggling here in MKE? We were spurred into action when government stimulus programs did not provide help where it was most needed. This mutual aid fund provides financial support when government won't and conventional non-profits don't. Working with community leaders and activists, gifted funds will provide food, clothing, housing, utilities, transportation, and the like.
