This week, we’re celebrating the incredible teachers who make our little community so special at North City Cooperative Preschool 💜

Teacher Cathy, Teacher Liz, and Teacher Amy bring so much heart, patience, creativity, and dedication into our classrooms each and every day. From comforting big feelings, to encouraging curiosity, to creating magical learning experiences through play, music, movement, and connection — they help shape such an important part of our children’s early years.

What makes NCCP so special is the sense of community and care that fills every classroom, and these three amazing educators are such a huge part of that. We are endlessly grateful for the love they pour into our kids and families, and for the opportunity to learn and grow alongside them.

Thank you for all the unseen moments, the extra effort, the encouragement, and the joy you bring to our preschool every day. Our community is better because of you. 💐✨

Save Our Schools

Being a parent is a full time job, the most important job, the most impactful job, the least funded job....

If you are reading this... your know how crucial this program is. Our teachers and community is doing everything in our power to keep our school operating, with or without the support of Shoreline Community College. Together, we will navigate changes and challenges to stay united in our efforts to better ourselves for our children, our community, our careers, and our future. 💜

Community and technical colleges statewide are trying to maintain their cooperative preschools, where parents work and learn alongside their children, once major rule changes by the State Board of Community and Technical Colleges take effect in July.

Each one of our 7 classes at NCCP collaborate on their own artistic creation to be auctioned off during the live auction. They are truly priceless items that represent the love and community that we nurture within ourselves and our children.
