These frozen foods were donated to the Rainbow Free Pantry! They are still fully frozen but it is obviously above freezing outside. Don’t hesitate to come scoop them up!

Also, I ordered several boxes of hand warmers. Feel free to grab a few extra to hand out if you see someone in need of warmth!

To donate to these efforts, -simonson is my Venmo. Or you can donate food, cleaning, or hygiene items in person! Take what you need, give what you’re able.

A bit of a funky mix of offerings from the free pantry! Gloves, hot cocoa gift sets, baby toys, two boxes of cereal, drawing/writing supplies, enchilada sauce, and socks!

Now is an amazing time cor PNW free pantries, as cold foods stay fairly cold- so milk, yogurt, and cheese are welcome if the door is latched!

The Little Free Rainbow Pantry is one of many amazing little free pantries around Shoreline!

Some great ideas for pantry donations, beyond a can of beans (though, always welcome!) are hygiene products, cleaning products, soup base, energy drinks, hand warmers, baby formula, instant coffee, pedialyte, and art supplies.

Any other items you love to see stocked? Don’t hesitate to reach out or leave a note in whichever pantry you frequent most!

POPy’s cafe (5:00-6:00 p.m. each Wed., 14514 20th Ave. NE Shoreline)
